Concentrator installation

The physical installation of the MBv master Elvaco CMe2100 is very simple

  • connect the MBus to the terminals marked MBus master
  • insert a SIM card
  • connect the antenna to the SMA connector and place it in the place with the best signal - ideally outside of the rack
  • connect 230V power supply to L a N terminals - standardly connected via 2A - (B), 10kA circuit breaker
  • if the red LED is lit, either you have a short circuit on the bus or too many meters connected

List of SMS commands required for initial setup

For proper operation with Enectiva, the following commands are required to set the module. Necessary commands are indicated in bold, others are used to check functionality.

  • set common.net.apn=internet - set the access point (internet for Vodafone), the answer comes common.net.apn:internet OK
  • timesync start - starts time synchronization, answers timesync started and timesync completed successfully. If an error occurs, the Internet connection is probably not working
  • status - check basic information - answer: Time: 2018-01-24 13:16:53 (if there is a different time than it really is, elvaco isn’t synced with timeserver - sync!) UpTime: 5137 days, 13:20 (time since last reboot - if time has been synchronized, it may be meaningless for a long time - unimportant) Signal: 9 of 10 Provider: Vodafone CZ (operator) GPRS: Attached Apn: Internet (must be correct apn) OK
  • **qset http http://elvaco.enectiva.cz/elvaco username heslo basic **- setting of HTTP push reports
  • sch report1 15min 3103 - setting the frequency of sending reports
  • sch storevalue 15min - setting of reading frequency (possible intervals: 5min, 15min, 1hour, 12hour, 1day, 1week, 1month)
  • install N - N replace the expected number of meters on the bus (eg install 7) - find meters on the bus for reading
  • momreport email.to=vas@email.com - reading gauges and sending values to email for review
