Pulse output settings

• to change the configuration, the switches on the inside of the machine door must be switched to the top position

• Place the read head on the viewport next to the keyboard on the front of the device

• connect the read head cable to the USB port of the computer
• in the Device Manager (click Start, type Device Manager in the Search Programs and Files box and open it) check the assigned port number in the COM and LPT Ports section - COM20 in our case

• Open TELVES
• In the Measured Telemetry Points window:
  • in the View section, select Communication (1)
  • under the Communication channel name field, select the communication port number detected in the device manager (eg COM20) (2)
  • Click Read (3) in the top menu and select Parameters

• In the object tree on the left of the window
  • first click on the Hardware item (1) with the left mouse button to mark it
  • right-click Hardware to select options
  • Hover over the Add output variable item and click Impulse Quantity in the newly displayed menu
  • Click the Create New Equation button in the right part of the window

• in the Math Expression Assistant, select the following options one at a time. Click the desired value and then click Continue

• Click Save to Device at the bottom of the window. After successful registration the program informs us with the message “Parameters have been written”
